Assign Role to a User

In this tutorial, we will learn how to assign a role to a user.

Prerequisites

To follow this tutorial, you need to have the E-commerce role and the John Doe user in your Webiny instance. If you don’t have them, please follow the Create Role and Create User tutorials to create it.

1. From the Side Menu, click Settings > ACCESS MANAGEMENT > Users.

   ✔️ The Admin Users screen opens.

2. Click John Doe in the list of Users.

3. Click Roles.

   ✔️ The Roles accordion opens.

4. In the Roles dropdown, click E-commerce.

5. Click Update user.

   ✔️ The message “User saved successfully.” displays.
